RESIDENCE PERMIT in MANAVGAT
Since the last week of december you can obtain your Residence Permit also in Manavgat. They opened a dependance where you can do all paperwork. It is not busy yet, because not many people know.
It is also possible to make a start for a new Permit.
The service is done in the Ilce Emniyet Mudurlugu and is on the first floor. This is a very well welcome for all foreigners in this area, because it is closeby.

Required Documents - Applications for Renewal
• Residence Permit Application Form
• Coloured photocopy of the passport or travel document
• Coloured photocopy of previous residence permit
• Two (2) photograph
• Notification regarding sufficient and sustainable resources for the duration of their stay (Notified in the application form. Management may ask for supportive document.) The amount is 500,- Dollar per month
• Valid medical insurance

Required Documents for a Short Term Residence Permit
First time Documents Turkish Residence Permit- (Please note; Additional documentation may be requested by the authorities)
• Residence Permit Application Form (Signed)
• Original copy and photocopy of passport or passport substitute (the pages which are processed with the pages over which there are identity information and photo)
• four (4) photos (Biometric)
• Notification regarding sufficient and sustainable resources for the duration of their stay (Notified in the application form. Management may ask for supportive document.) 500,- Dollar per month
• Valid Health Insurance (one of following health insurances is enough) Over 65's & under 18 are exempt

Turkish residence permit - Long Term Residence Permit.

Long - term Residence Permit (permanent)
A long-term residence permit shall be issued by the governorates, upon approval of the Ministry, to foreigners that have continuously resided in Turkey
for at least eight years on a permit or, foreigners that meet the conditions set out by the Migration Policies Board.
Conditions for long-term residence permit
a) having continues residence in Turkey for at least eight years;
b) not having received social assistance in the past three years;
c) having sufficient and stable income to maintain themselves or, if any, support their family;
ç) to be covered with a valid medical insurance;
d) not to be posing a public order or public security threat.
Cancelation of long-term residence permits
Under the following cases a long-term residence permit shall be cancelled when the foreigner:
a) poses a serious public security or public order threat;
b) stays out of Turkey continuously for more than one year for reasons other than health, education and compulsory public service in his/her country.
Please note; Interruption to the residency
If you stay outside of Turkey for a period of more than 6 months within 1 year or more within the last 5 years. This will be classed as 'interruptions' and will not be counted towards your 8-year residency permit. Also any residency previously acquired before the interruptions will not be counted.
Long-Term Residence Permit for Foreigners
For a long-term residence permit, foreigners that have continuously resided in Turkey for at least eight years should submit the following documents to the relevant Provincial Directorate of Immigration Administration:

Submission of the previous residence permit document

The document showing that the applicant has not received any social aid from governmental institutions and organizations in the last three years

Declaration regarding sufficient and sustainable financial resources for the duration of the stay

Valid medical insurance (one of the following shall be sufficient):
o Document facilitating health services in Turkey within the scope of bilateral social security agreements
o Provision document issued by the Social Security Institution
o Document regarding the application made to the Social Security Institution to be covered by the general health insurance
o Private health insurance
o Document showing that the applicant is registered with the Address Registry System
